Name: Elizabeth Reich
Title: President and Chief Executive Officer
Before joining Make-A-Wish Arizona: Most of my career has been in the non-profit world. For twelve years I was Director of Women’s Services for the Lutheran Healthcare Network (now Banner Health), starting their women’s health program. For five years, I was Executive Director of what is now called The Governor’s Office of Children, Youth, and Families under Governor Jane Dee Hull. I was also CEO of VisionQuest 20/20, creator of an innovative approach to screening children in schools for amblyopia.
Education: BA from Whittier College
About me: I have been happily married for 38 years to Frank Reich. We have three sons, three daughters-in-law, and five wonderful grandchildren. In our spare time we love to travel and spend time with our family.
My favorite thing about working at Make-A-Wish Arizona: The amazing mission which allows us to provide hope, strength and joy to kids and families at a time when life can be pretty bleak. I also love our wonderful volunteers who make it possible for us to grant all those wishes. And, of course, my amazing co-workers!
My wish would be: My wish for Make-A-Wish Arizona is for us to be able to grant the wishes of all eligible kids in Arizona. For a personal wish, I have thought about this often and can’t come up with one. My life is pretty good.
