Make-A-Wish Arizona is excited to welcome Melissa Bengtson, Partner at DLA Piper; James Mullin, principal of Mullin360; and Andrea Tazioli, partnerh of Quarles & Brady LLP, to their board of directors.
Melissa Bengtson received her Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, and has been recognized in AZBusiness as “a Top Lawyer” in the Generation Next category, by Southwest Super Lawyers as a Southwest Rising Star in the Securities and Corporate Finance category, and by the Phoenix Business Journal in the 40 and under 40 2016 class. DLA Piper is a global law firm with lawyers located in more than 40 countries throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.
“Make-A-Wish Arizona is the state chapter of an international organization making this a perfect fit for me,” said Bengtson. “Our firm works locally and globally to provide the best possible service to our clients and I know Make-A-Wish Arizona does the same to help Arizona children dealing with life-threatening medical conditions.”
James Mullin has an early foundation in automotive retail through a family dealership, though for the past 30 years, he has served as principal for his own LLC in Scottsdale, Mullin360, which is an automotive retail real estate development company. His experience in construction, finance, development and real estate will bring new insight to the Make-A-Wish Arizona Board of Directors.
Mullin is eager to assist the chapter as it continuously grows to grant more wishes than ever before in Arizona.
“I have long had a commitment to serving on boards that support the education, growth and betterment of children,” said James. “I look forward to working with Make-A-Wish Arizona to reach their goals and to advance awareness in the community of the great work they have and will accomplish.”
Andrea Tazioli represents and defends individuals and corporate entities that are victims of criminal misconduct in state and federal criminal and regulatory investigations and prosecutions. She serves as an active participant in many Quarles & Brady committees, and as a formal mentor to junior associates.
Tazioli is presently involved in Arizona State University’s Law Diversity Writing program, conducting annual presentations about trial skills and courtroom etiquette. She is also a member of the Maricopa County Bar Association, a volunteer pro-bono lawyer for Volunteer Lawyer’s Program, and the Treasurer for the Georgetown University Alumni Club in Phoenix. She holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University, and was recognized in 2010 as one of the Top 50 Pro Bono Attorneys by the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services and Education.

Make-A-Wish Arizona President and Chief Executive Officer Elizabeth Reich is excited to welcome the three new members to an already strong Board of Directors.
