(SCOTTSDALE, AZ) – April 9, 2018 – Thanks to the kindness and generosity of the Arizona and California community, Jack in the Box® raised more than $230,000 last month for Make-A-Wish® Arizona. The funds were raised through the sale of $1 Wish Stars at more than 160 Jack in the Box restaurants in the Phoenix, Tucson, Lake Havasu City and Flagstaff areas throughout the month of March.
Jack in the Box was able to exceed its fundraising goal this year by raising enough funds to help Make-A-Wish Arizona grant 20 wishes for Arizona children facing critical illnesses. This is the fifth year in a row that Jack in the Box has partnered with the wish-granting organization.
“We continue to be amazed and humbled by the commitment of Jack in the Box customers and employees when it comes to raising funds to grant wishes for Arizona children dealing with critical illnesses,” said Elizabeth Reich, Chief Executive Officer and President of Make-A-Wish Arizona. “With the average cost of a wish $10,000, Jack in the Box has helped our chapter reach more children every year, helping with our ultimate vision of reaching every eligible child in Arizona.”
