When it comes to raising funds for Make-A-Wish® Arizona, the only limit is your imagination. Adults and children alike can raise funding for the chapter to make wishes come true! Whether it is hosting a fundraiser event in the community or raising awareness at your high school or university, there are many ways to get involved and directly impact our mission!
Kids For Wish Kids®
The Kids For Wish Kids® program is an extremely popular program for elementary and middle school students because it is managed by kids like you. Kids For Wish Kids allows students to plan their own fundraiser events and activities at their own schools. Students are responsible for forming committees, coming up with fundraising ideas, and planning the event. Teachers and parents often serve as advisors, but ownership of the fundraiser events depend on our Kids For Wish Kids® student ambassadors. Some popular event ideas are bake sales, selling Make-A-Wish stars at school dances, hosting a talent show, or starting a penny war between classes.
External Events are organized by outside parties to benefit Make-A-Wish Arizona. Event sponsors vary from individuals, companies and corporations, kids groups, community groups, and just about anyone who has a great idea for a fundraiser. Some of the unique and special community events that have been organized include golf tournaments, motorcycle rides, car shows, softball tournaments, bowling tournaments, and silent auctions.

Wishmakers on Campus®
Wish Makers on Campus® is an opportunity for high school and college students to become leaders in philanthropy and fundraising. Interested students can start a club on campus to plan and execute fundraising events to raise money for Make-A-Wish Arizona. This program enables participants to gain valuable leadership, planning, marketing, organization and teamwork skills that are invaluable when entering the “real world.” Some popular fundraising events for college campuses are: dance marathons, gala dinners, date auctions, battle of the bands, basketball tournaments, movie nights, etc. You can also start with an easier project of selling Make-A-Wish stars in front of your student union or in the quad.
