About Us

As the founding chapter of the now international wish granting organization, Make-A-Wish Arizona® continues to be a trailblazer as we work toward our vision of granting the wish of every eligible child in Arizona. We have dedicated ourselves to the Make-A-Wish mission, granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

Our Chapter

Started in 1980, Make-A-Wish Arizona evolved into a dedicated community of volunteers, donors and Arizona families who have helped grant more than 6,000 wishes since founding.

Make-A-Wish is the legacy of Chris Greicius, a 7-year-old boy from Phoenix. His police officer wish inspired an unprecedented kind of charity.
