Annual Report for Make-A-Wish Arizona

At Make-A-Wish® Arizona, we see the impact of our work daily. It’s in the thank you letters we receive from families who experienced their child’s one true wish. It’s with the volunteers who stop by the Wish House to tell us about their wish child. It’s from the medical professionals who, when surveyed, say they believe a wish experience can influence a wish kids’ physical health.

As the founding chapter of Make-A-Wish®, the international wish granting organization, Make-A-Wish Arizona works to meet goals that will impact the lives of Arizona children with critical illnesses. All donors, volunteers, wish families and community members can become a key “stakeholder” in our organization.

To see what our stakeholder's contributions have meant for our chapter, you can read the full Annual Report online or download it to keep for your records.

Our Annual Report tells a story of success. In fiscal year 2018, Make-A-Wish Arizona was able to grant 400 wishes, a record number, thanks to support from our corporate partners, philanthropic foundations, and individual donors.

We added key personnel to our staff and to our Board of Directors who committed to our vision of making every eligible child’s wish come true. We expanded our volunteer database to more than 800 individuals to reach all of Arizona’s children.

We have created this report to show you that we are dedicated to making every eligible child's wish come true.
