The Phoenician Surge Splash Pad

June 16, 2014

The Phoenician

Wednesday, June 4 ended up being a very exciting day for some Arizona wish kids. The Phoenician, which just opened their new Surge Splash Pad, invited wish families to come to the water park for the morning to try it out. Four families were available to enjoy the gorgeous resort backdrop, plus there was much to see and try at the splash pad.

The Phoenician staff generously provided water and ice cream for the wish kids to make the day even better. And each child was gifted a stuffed animal to remember their fun at the resort. There were also cabanas, fans and TVs for those parents who wanted to stay dry and cool.

From waterfalls, sprinklers, and pouring buckets, there was plenty for the kids to enjoy.  The staff really went out of their way to make the morning fun and memorable for everyone.

“It was really a fun day and great way for the kids to get out, enjoy themselves, and meet each other,” said Clarice, wish mom to Dylan, who wished to go to Disney World. Another wish mom, Claire, whose daughter Ellie, 12, wished for her own horse, added, “The kids would love for their friends to experience this too, and we’d all be happy to come back.”
